We love traveling to eastern Washington and this particular time we did it in the fall. Were we so enlightened with all the different colors in the trees. This photograph was converted into a watercolor painting using adobe photoshop. It looks amazing printed on canvas and then gallery wrapped. But I am sure it will look really nice on fine art paper as well. Enjoy!
About Mary Gaines
I am a self taught artist, I live in one of the most gorgeous areas of the country. I live in the Pacific Northwest, on scenic Whidbey Island, Washington. I have lived here for over 37 years and what an inspiration it is to get to experience each and every day. Our Island is 50 miles long and everywhere you drive to you get to see the ocean, we are surrounded by the Cascades, Olympics and Mt. Baker, we are so blessed to live here. My late husband and I were also able to travel most of our retired life to all the national parks and British Columbia, before he passed in 2020. That is a beautiful beautiful shot and a gorgeous painting. Love how you tied it all together with the tree color, bridge and water. The dark bridge really gives it a pop and causes the eye to move to the rocks, water, and trees. Well well done! Margie
