The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. All the moisture in this azalea was captured and the colors of the flowers are so dramatic - this looks fabulous printed on canvas or watercolor paper. If you get it printed on canvas you have to have it gallery wrapped for an awesome effect.

I am a self taught artist, I live in one of the most gorgeous areas of the country. I live in the Pacific Northwest, on scenic Whidbey Island, Washington. I have lived here for over 37 years and what an inspiration it is to get to experience each and every day. Our Island is 50 miles long and everywhere you drive to you get to see the ocean, we are surrounded by the Cascades, Olympics and Mt. Baker, we are so blessed to live here. My late husband and I were also able to travel most of our retired life to all the national parks and British Columbia, before he passed in 2020.
