I love this painting of Deception Pass bridge with orcas in the water. This is such a beautiful area to visit if you have not yet done so it is a must see during your vacation time, especially during summertime. I love living on Whdibey Island and when traveling to the mainland I get to drive on this bridge each and every time.
About Mary Gaines

I am a self taught artist, I live in one of the most gorgeous areas of the country. I live in the Pacific Northwest, on scenic Whidbey Island, Washington. I have lived here for over 37 years and what an inspiration it is to get to experience each and every day. Our Island is 50 miles long and everywhere you drive to you get to see the ocean, we are surrounded by the Cascades, Olympics and Mt. Baker, we are so blessed to live here. My late husband and I were also able to travel most of our retired life to all the national parks and British Columbia, before he passed in 2020.
