About Mary Gaines

Mary Gaines "My faith, my family and my love for art and photography are what keeps me focused in life". I am a self taught artist/photographer, and love capturing the beauty that Whidbey Island and the Pacific Northwest have to offer. I have had the pleasure of calling Whidbey Island my home for the past 37 years and have also been blessed to travel to so many amazing national parks on the west coast.

My love of photography can be seen in the colorful and bold scenes I have captured, "sunrises and sunsets" are my favorites and Whidbey Island never disappoints. Some of my other interests are painting in watercolors, acrylics and oils, each have their own unique style. Art runs in our family, all my children and grandchildren love drawing, painting and being creative in the arts in one form or another.
